Helping Pets Thrive
Stress, new food, antibiotics . . . there are many items that can upset the delicate balance of bacteria in a pet’s digestive system. Adding some beneficial bacteria can help lead to a healthy digestive system and improve your pets' overall health.
A healthy gut can help prevents disease, improves digestion, aids in better nutrient absorption and boosts the immune system.
Geneflora is available in our retail locations, unfortunately we do not ship.
Probiotics are a good type of bacteria that lives in our pets’ intestines. Geneflora for Pets is an amazing breakthrough probiotic formula specially designed to strengthen the immune system, control yeast and candida and improve digestion.
Why we LOVE Geneflora at PetPeople:
Geneflora for Pets contains the beneficial bacteria, Bacillus coagulans (Lactobacillus sporogenes) which is a hardy, naturally heat-resistant bacteria that are able to easily survive the stomach acid and reach the intestines where they can thrive and help to correct digestive imbalances.
Geneflora for Pets contains enzymes to help reduce inflammation and aid in digestion along with Fiber Acacia, a soluble fiber that feeds the good bacteria (also known as a "prebiotic") and helps regulate bowel movements.
In addition, gelatin has been added to help with joints and to maintain a healthy coat.*

From our staff:
About 6 months ago I had to take in an American Bulldog from an unfortunate situation. The immediate response was for a poisonous bite to the chest cavity, but upon examination I noticed much more attention was needed. This beautiful all white dog was lacking his muchness. Along with a good cleaning, antibiotics, and some staples, he was also going to need to be wormed, updated on shots, and pumped full of vitamins and nutrients. With my knowledge and after conversing with the vet I decided I needed to add some TLC to this dog's everyday regiment in order to get him 100% again. I knew that while the anitbiotics were going to do great things in healing him, I also knew that his intestinal tract was going to suffer even further. I purchased the Geneflora and began sprinkling it over his food per the recommended dosage instructions on the container. I already feed a diet that is supplemented with a prebiotic and a probiotic, but it wouldn't be enough for this particular situation. The Geneflora went right to work in his system and I could tell almost instantaneously. Within the first week I noticed a change in his stool, smaller and less odor. After a few weeks the quality of his appearance began to increase, muscle definition, better color in his gums and the tear staining began to subside. I only had one other dog to develop tear stains and so I decided to start using the Geneflora on him as well just to test. What a huge difference! I now use Geneflora everyday and I have indeed noticed an overall change in physical quality of the dogs as well as a change for the better in what they leave me to clean up. I recommend this product often in the store regardless if the bag of food already has a probiotic in it.
